If you find yourself at the crossroads of insomnia and insanity, this is the place to channel those demons that keep you sleepless. Vivid pictures, poetry, ruminations, and confessions from the nether hours between dusk and dawn. Originally formed to celebrate the city at night, there's a strong urban theme.

Self-described as "a little community with a lot of rage," you can soak up impassioned vibes and read blistering exposes detailing sexist attitudes in the news, pop culture, and science! A must-join community if you are, or love, a feminist. (NB: the topic of whether a "man" can be a feminist is outside the scope of this spotlight, but will probably wind up on the Writer's Block.)

Okay then! Besides it now being 2038, there have been some big changes in my life. First off, Rocket will not be happy with me and Arch when they finally discover what we did; bargained with PIA for amnesty and protection in exchange for info. Well Arch, being the crazy bird that he is, one upped the cops and gave them his father, a recently battered (G'DAMN that was fun!) Elite Honchkrow by the name of Daemon. Bastard is lucky he was our bargaining chip; he dented my back armor, bruised my kidney, and likely broke a rib or two. I just hope to Arceus that the cops can prevent him from getting away. We'll all be royally screwed if he manages to get back to Rocket. Also, I'm SO looking forward to seeing Millie! Nevermind that it'll be through a jail cell. But hey, at least it's voluntary imprisonment. Anyways, I look forward to my new life with Mills and possibly, if I play my cards right, with the PIA!

Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, [info]renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

It really does feel like a short time. I thought I couldn't be any more busy than I already was, but then Damasu kicked down my door and eight months later I'm on the floor with two kits in my arms and one yena barely concious nearby. And now I've got the camera out taking a picture of his handiwork sitting in front of the tree, something to add to the family album and make greeting cards out of. Their faces are so priceless and disarming. its really hard for me to immagine just how they grew so quickly let alone maintain any anger at their father. It wasn't entirely his fault that he broke down the door any more than it was mine for forgetting he was going to be visiting that day. And Damasu? He's still got a long way to go but he's been very happy as a father. He's got a son and a daughter, something he very much did not expect would happen. And with these two in the family, I have to work harder to keep up with everything in our lives. I don't mind, watching them grow is its own reward.

They even started speaking recently. My son was the first one to speak up. Little Adam poked his father in the nose and said in a clear tone "daddy". Rose followed the next day. For their second christmas I've got a lot planned for our family as a whole. I'm just keeping it secret until tomarrow. It should be pretty fun.

My employers don't mind that I'm working from hom and it hasn't for quite a while. Working two part-time jobs and having Damasu find work more than fulfills out monetary needs and I'm quite pleased with how things turned out. I'm even able to get outside a little more often lately now that some older plans have finally fallen into place. It feels good to get back into weekly walks with my kids following. Developing early healthy habits is going to be important for their futures.

A few days ago I ran into another ninetales morph out in the park after getting back from dropping off some work at the office. She looks almost like I do, though our color shades differ by several notches. She ran into a pole and was cussing it out. It seemed funny at first, until I saw that she was very very pregnant and was shifting her anger venting upon me. It was very hard to tranquilize her anger enough to try to socialize and it didn't work out all that great, but I managed to get her phone number. Then I ran into her again at the beach a few days later where she was poking fomr feral tentacool morph with a stick. She gave the new guy a jacket before she left. It was interesting to see a new morph on the island and a random act of charity. I told her I'll get her a new jacket and let her wander away on her own. Maybe I'll finally call her so she can get her jacket tomarrow. Or send someone to get it for her. I remember beign that pregnant, it's tiring and uncomfortable to walk around for too long.

Oop, the twins found the oran berry juice. I better go clean up the mess. Later!
